Daniel Brewer is a lifelong Portland resident. Having spent most of his life in the southeast portion of the city, (Milwaukie) he now resides with his wife Mary and son Ian on the Westside in the Sunset Corridor.

In addition to being a Notary since 2014, he led a large company's drive to increase customer service by 15% in the call center industry. During the COVID-19 quarantine in the spring of 2020, Dan added to his Notary resume by gaining certification through the National Notary Association as a Loan Signing Agent.

He still works as a caregiver and also is employed as a Instructional Assistant in Special Education in the Beaverton School District, in Beaverton Oregon.

He is visible in a number of communities through a number of involvements:

  • Toastmasters International (ACG, ALB) - Member of three clubs and frequent guest speaker.

  • Worked in Education as a Special Education Assistant. (2016-Present)

  • Past President of the Oregon Road Runners Club (1995-98) and Director of the Dual Duel Track event (1993-present)

  • Basketball Officiating (Official 1980-2007)

  • Special Needs Advocacy (2004-Present) [Public Speaker and Advocate]

  • Working in Tech as a Technical Trainer and Technical Writer. He is a passionate Customer Service Advocate.

  • During a time when he was laid-off, he became an advocate and speaker for people searching for jobs.

  • Formerly worked as an usher for the Portland Timbers and Thorns.

  • An avid Sports fan, blogger, and fan of the Portland TrailBlazers, San Francisco 49ers, Milwaukee Brewers, Portland State Vikings, and Washington Huskies. (also, more recently the Portland Timbers and Thorns.)

  • He enjoys golf, running, photography, building things, and spends a lot of time with his wife and son. He played and coached Baseball and Softball throughout the 1980's and 90's. He was also a competitive Roller Skate Dancer back in the 1990's.
